Vacation Rental Window Cleaning San Clemente β Guest-Ready Glass, Every Turnover
We coordinate with your cleaning crew, fit your turnover schedule, and make sure your glass never costs you a booking or a star. Monthly plans from the start of summer, no surprises.
Why dirty windows are an Airbnb problem β not just an aesthetic one
San Clemente has more than 2,500 short-term rental units, with the highest concentration in the Pier Bowl, North Beach, Linda Lane Beach, and the downtown corridor. At an average nightly rate of $361, guests arriving to a property with hazy, salt-filmed windows photograph it on day one. That photo ends up in a review. That review costs you bookings at rates that dwarf the cost of a monthly window clean.
Summer occupancy in San Clemente’s coastal STR market runs above 90% from June through September. The window cleaning problem compounds during this exact period β peak marine layer season (April through July) leaves mineral deposits on every ocean-facing surface, and Pacific salt film accumulates daily in properties within half a mile of the water. By the time August arrives, a property that hasn’t had professional window cleaning since March is showing 4β5 months of coastal glass damage.
Most STR hosts don’t have time to manage this. That’s why we built a specific process around vacation rental turnovers β not a standard residential scheduling approach, but a system that coordinates with your existing cleaning crew and fits your booking calendar.

Our vacation rental window cleaning process β built around your turnover, not ours
Step 1: Set up your plan before peak season
Contact us in April or May β before summer bookings lock in. We confirm your property address, window count, and preferred scheduling window. For most Pier Bowl and North Beach properties, we recommend monthly exterior cleans through June through September. Full interior and exterior cleans at the start of peak season (late May) and the end (late September).
Step 2: Coordinate with your cleaning crew
Tell us your turnover window β when checkout is and when check-in begins. We schedule the window clean to fit inside that gap without interfering with your regular cleaning crew. We don’t need the property staged or empty β just unlocked access to the exterior and interior when applicable.
Step 3: Completion confirmation
When we finish, you get a text confirmation. No need to be present. No need to check behind us β we do a final walkthrough before we leave. Your property is guest-ready for the next check-in.
Step 4: Recurring β no thinking required
Monthly plans run automatically through the season. We’ll reach out if we see anything that needs attention β a damaged screen, a pane with a compromised seal, a track that needs additional work. You’re notified, not surprised.
North Beach Airbnb host: how a 3-star review about dirty windows cost $2,300 in lost bookings
An Airbnb host managing two North Beach cottages contacted us in late May β two weeks before peak season. They’d received a 3-star review the previous summer mentioning “grimy windows and screens,” which they estimated cost them 8 bookings at $290/night average β roughly $2,300 in lost revenue for a cleaning problem that costs a fraction of that to prevent.
We completed both properties in one day: full deionized water clean on all windows, all screens washed, one torn screen rescreened on-site, the completely blocked sliding patio door track cleared. The host set up a monthly exterior plan through September β 4 visits per property. No window complaints in any summer review. Zero. The host’s comment to us after the season: “That 3-star review cost me $2,300. The whole year of monthly cleans cost less than one lost booking.”
Vacation rental window cleaning β common questions
How often do vacation rental windows need cleaning in San Clemente?
For properties near the water β Pier Bowl, North Beach, Linda Lane Beach β monthly exterior cleans through June through September keep glass guest-ready and prevent salt etching damage. A full interior and exterior clean at the start of peak season (late May) and the end (late September) rounds out the annual plan. Properties further inland can do bi-monthly exterior cleans through summer.
Can you coordinate with my cleaning crew and fit inside my turnover window?
Yes β this is the core of our STR service. We schedule to fit your turnover gap. Tell us when checkout is and when check-in begins. For most Pier Bowl and North Beach properties, the window clean takes 45β90 minutes for exterior-only. We don’t need you to be present. We send a text when done.
Do you offer discounts for multiple STR properties?
Yes. If you manage multiple properties in the same area, we can schedule them as a single visit and reduce per-property pricing accordingly. Most property managers running 3+ STR units in the Pier Bowl or North Beach area get a combined plan that covers all properties under one monthly invoice.
How much does vacation rental window cleaning cost in San Clemente?
Exterior-only cleans for a standard Pier Bowl or North Beach cottage typically run $120β$180 per visit. Monthly plans at 4 visits/summer run $480β$720 per property for the season β often less than one lost booking from a 1-star review citing dirty windows. “That 3-star review the summer before cost me 8 bookings at $290 a night. I set up a monthly exterior plan in May and ran it through September. Not a single mention of windows in any guest review. The ROI is obvious β one lost booking costs more than the whole year of cleaning.”

“I have two properties in the Pier Bowl and one on Linda Lane. They handle all three on a rotating schedule that fits my turnovers. I send one message in April, confirm the dates, and I don’t think about it again until October. Guest-ready glass without me doing anything.”

“My Airbnb listing photos looked dramatically different after the pre-season clean. Clean windows in listing photos signals a well-maintained property β guests notice. I got two unprompted compliments about the views in my first month after setting this up.”

Vacation Rental Window Cleaning β FAQ
You give us your checkout and check-in window once at the start of the season. We build our schedule around it, coordinate with your cleaning crew directly, and send a text confirmation when done. You do not need to be present. Most active STR hosts set this up in April and do not think about it again until October.
At the average San Clemente STR nightly rate of $361, a single 3-star review citing dirty windows typically costs 6β10 bookings. A full summer of monthly exterior cleaning costs less than two of those lost bookings. Clean glass is revenue protection, not a luxury for active STR hosts.
Yes β monthly exterior plans for STR hosts are our most common recurring service from May through October. The plan includes all glass, tracks, sills, and screens on every visit. We confirm availability before peak season booking starts and schedule around your occupancy calendar.
